Flint Group has been working with Ride the Red, a charity bike ride that supports Hospice of the Red River Valley, for the past three years. When I joined the planning committee in 2012 I suggested we tap into social media to recruit riders. Our team developed an awareness campaign which helped increase attendance by 20%. The following year we implemented online registration and launched a social media giveaway that contributed to another 40% increase in attendance and donations.
